Mr Heili has spent the bulk of his 30+-year professional career in the uranium mining industry. Prior to joining Peninsula he most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Ur-Energy, Inc. where he successfully oversaw the design, construction, commissioning and ramp-up of the Lost Creek in-situ uranium project in Wyoming USA.
Prior to joining Ur-Energy, Inc., Mr Heili served as Operations Manager of the Christensen/Irigaray in-situ uranium mines in Wyoming and has experience in ISR and conventional uranium mines in Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a past President of the Uranium Producers of America.
Mr Bezuidenhout is an accomplished Chartered Accountant with a strong strategic focus in the development and execution of strategic initiatives. He is the Company’s Vice President of Corporate Development and was previously Chief Executive Officer of Peninsula’s South African operations. Mr Bezuidenhout holds a MBA from the North-West University and his previous roles include Vice President of Business Development for Uranium One Inc.
Mr Whyte is a Chartered Accountant and has extensive corporate, company secretarial financial accounting experience across a number of listed and unlisted resource sector companies. Mr Whyte is currently Company Secretary of ASX listed Ironbark Zinc Limited and Infinity Lithium Corporation Limited and is Company Secretary of AIM listed Empyrean Energy Plc. Mr Whyte previously worked in the investment banking sector in London over a period of 6 years for Credit Suisse and Barclays Capital Plc.
Mr Knode has over 30 years’ experience in uranium exploration, property evaluation, mine construction, and mine operations throughout North America, Kazakhstan, and Australia. Prior to joining Peninsula, Mr Knode held senior management positions at Uranium One, most recently as Senior Vice President, Projects. For over 25 years Mr Knode held various mid-level and senior management positions for Cameco’s USA subsidiaries Crow Butte Resources and Power Resources and JV Inkai in Kazakhstan. In these capacities, Mr Knode has been directly involved in the start-up and/or operation of five In Situ Recovery projects on three different continents.
Mr Brost has over 33 years of uranium-specific geology experience in the western Great Plains and Rocky Mountains. His ISR-specific experience includes geology management services from development and delineation drilling to wellfield design and construction, wellfield operations, and reclamation. He has managed planning, budgeting, and supervision of project exploration activities across Wyoming and Western Nebraska, helping to identify and evaluate new production centre prospects. Mr. Brost also has extensive experience in landowner and regulatory relations.
Mr Douthit has spent 22 years in the uranium-specific mining industry. He served as Wellfield Operation Superintendent for Ur-Energy Inc., where he oversaw the wellfield construction and design of the project as well as operational start-up and commissioning. Mr Douthit also has experience in operations and restorations during his time with Ur-Energy and Cameco Resources. He has also managed planning, budgeting, and supervision of project drilling.
Mr Hofeling has over 20 years’ experience in finance and accounting specific to the mining industry. During his 16 years with Rio Tinto, Mr. Hofeling was responsible for financial oversight including global finance, governance, compliance, tax optimisation and risk management at numerous domestic and international aluminium, copper, gold and nickel capital and exploration projects. Mr. Hofeling also worked for six years in Nevada gold operations.
Mr Pile brings 22 years of project experience ranging from development of feasibility studies, engineering, and construction through operational start-up, related to in-situ recovery of uranium in Wyoming, Nebraska, and Kazakhstan. Mr. Pile’s primary responsibility at present is the evaluation of the learnings from the MU1A field demonstration and the preparation of updated capital and operating costs for the Project.
Mr Milmine brings 25 years of experience working in the health and safety, regulatory and environmental management roles for mining companies, including extensive in-situ uranium experience in Wyoming. Mr. Milmine is actively working to complete the development and implementation of a Quality Management System and an Environmental Management System with the intention of the Company becoming ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
WWC Engineering (WWC) was appointed to conduct the mine permitting program at the Lance Projects. WWC is based in Wyoming and specialise in regulatory permitting and ground and surface water hydrology. WWC has over 30 years’ experience in all facets of the Wyoming regulatory and permitting process and is already familiar with the Lance Projects having been involved in the rehabilitation of the NuBeth pilot plant at Ross in the 1980s.
